The Lion Inn - Winchcombe

We had room which had free Wi-Fi and coffee and was good sized and lovely looking. The location was stunning, within a close distance from Winchcombe Railway Museum.

The location was stunning, near to another pub in the town and easily accessible. I ate at the gourmet restaurant near the hotel. The breakfast was complementary with various other cooked dishes, the usual cereals plus food warm.

The cozy bar and dining area were super inviting and the food was delicious and well-presented. I especially loved the braised beef and dessert!

Lovely central hotel, terrific for one night. Adequate room, exceptional, with central heating, the fireplace plus good shower. Delicious food at breakfast served in the restaurant. What a wonderful stay, nothing too much trouble.

The Lion Inn provided a comfortable and quiet environment for my stay. The staff was attentive and ensured my bags were securely stored upon my early arrival. My room featured a quirky decor touch with a Mickey Mouse mural, and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast, particularly the eggs Florentine, while the bar area had a cute atmosphere.

Just an appropriate option for a flying visit in Winchcombe with really good value. The staff warmly welcomed us and even helped wash our muddy dogs. Be ready for some noise at night, though.

We enjoyed a mix of classical and jazz at the festival. Our stay was filled with lovely meals and great service. The rooms were spacious and the vibe was super chill. Definitely a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day.

Breakfast the next morning was excellent with lots of options. The staff, and service during meals was attentive. My room had some charm but needed a bit of TLC. The carpet looked old and could use a deep clean. The heating took some time to kick in, and the bathroom had outdated decor. Some areas, like the bathroom, felt a bit cramped. I noticed the pub could get noisy at times, especially in the evening, so an early night might require earplugs. A pleasant stay, but the rooms could benefit from some upgrades and better maintenance.

Every corner of this lovely inn radiates history and warmth! The superior double room was like a cozy little nest, perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. I adored the good breakfast prepared by the fine Oola, who made sure we felt right at home while enjoying delicious traditional fare.

The atmosphere was cozy and cute. Food was fantastic, with a rich menu and friendly service. Just a heads up, the bathroom door lacked a proper lock, so plan accordingly!

Our room could have used more power outlets. It felt a bit inconvenient considering how many devices we all had. An extra outlet would have been a simple fix.
